 ou’ve never touched a machine or just need a refresher\, this hands-on co
 urse will teach you the fundamentals—machine operation\, essential tools\
 , and key techniques for sewing with accuracy and confidence. Each week bui
 lds your skills through fun\, beginner-friendly projects like coasters\, pi
 llowcases\, and sewing machine covers.\n \nTHIS IS A GROUP SEWING CLASS.\n

 t operates on a month-to-month basis\, allowing students to continue in the
  track until they feel prepared to advance. Most students need 6-10 weeks\,
  depending on attendance\, practice time\, and individual skill development
  to progress pass the beginner stage\, where then we will get to work on st
 udent lead projects. \nClasses are designed to be fun\, hands-on\, and tai
 lored to each student’s skill level and goals.\nStudents will be guided t
 hrough the essential building blocks of sewing in a structured\, supportive
  studio environment. Instruction focuses on safety\, machine confidence\, t
 erminology\, fabric knowledge\, and core construction skills.\n\n\n\n\n\nSt
 udents can expect hands-on practice with:\n\n\nSewing machine operation\, t
 hreading\, tension adjustment\, and stitch selection\n\n\nStraight\, zigzag
 \, and curved stitching with control and consistency\n\n\nProper cutting\, 
 pressing\, marking\, and seam allowance accuracy\n\n\nUnderstanding fabric 
 types\, grainlines\, and basic interfacing\n\n\nReading and interpreting si
 mple sewing patterns\n\n\nCompleting beginner-friendly projects such as sma
 ll accessories\n\n\nProjects are designed to reinforce technique\, not just
  produce a finished item. Accuracy and understanding are prioritized over s
